 Curriculum Units Supported

Our activities support a number of national curriculum units, including:

All the children had a wonderful fortnight studying all

things Italian, including food, traditional costumes,

dance, literature and volcanoes.

“Rosaria visited Year 3 as part of our World Awareness Week.

Rosaria delivered an excellent presentation to the children about life in Italy and by

sharing her own experiences and artefacts the children gained valuable insights.

Rosaria also made Italian tomato sauce with the children using fresh ingredients. She

also talked to the children about Italian foods. The children thoroughly enjoyed

tasting the tomato sauce and other Italian foods Rosaria had prepared for them.

Her willingness to offer time and support prior to the presentation was much

appreciated and without doubt enhanced the children's experience and understanding

of life in Italy.”
